All-New Sixth-Generation Small Block V8 Power
The 2027 Sierra 1500 offers four powertrains, headlined by two all-new sixth-generation Small Block V8 engines in 5.7L and 6.6L displacements. Advances in combustion, cooling and control systems — plus a new fuel injection system — sharpen refinement and performance in everything from the daily commute to rock crawling and towing. The lineup also carries an enhanced TurboMax engine with best-in-class standard torque1 and the class-exclusive Duramax diesel.1 Every engine pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
